Why SubWork Bled? ♥️
Is this one of the best places for Polkadot projects? Yes! Bled is a natural wonder; that’s why KodaDot's team spends so much time here. Is it worth a visit? Read on. I’m sure I can convince you!
It is probably already known that KodaDot opened a co-work space in beautiful Bled, Slovenia. But why Bled? It may seem like a small and not very busy city. I can't entirely agree with that. When I first visited this place in September of last year, I was surprised by its beauty. Those who love nature and hiking will feel here like home. Fresh air, mountains, iconic lake with the church in the middle? What more do you need?
SubWork Bled is open to all web3 projects in the Polkadot ecosystem interested in building. This place is perfect for team retreats, meetups, or individual visits. We all need to change the environment sometimes or recharge our batteries. It’s an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether it's a walk around the lake, a hike up the Julian Alps, or simply relaxing in the thermal waters, nature in Bled provides ample opportunities to disconnect and rejuvenate.
A healthy working environment was something KodaDot wanted to achieve. And I guess we did it. Enough green plants and natural light, all the office equipment you need, private meeting rooms, and much more. Everything is close; you are less than 3 minutes away from the lake, with markets, restaurants, and many options to spend your free time doing something meaningful.
It’s always sunny there. No kidding, there is an internal KodaDot joke where we talk about the weather because team members live in different countries (I guess our humor is not that creative). We often send pictures to each other during the day… and of course, it is always sunny in Bled while the weather in my country is depressive almost every day. Don’t you believe me? Just google the current weather in Bled and see yourself.
Many interesting people from different projects, such as Apillon, Astar, and HydraDX already visited. And, of course, the whole KodaDot team also had a retreat in Bled. You can be the next one.
